LED Teeth Whitening Procedure

What causes white spots on enamel?
Those white spots are flurosis, probably due to excessive fluoride or chlorine in your water. It could also be calcification due to calcium deposits in your enamel. They will initially whiten faster than the rest of your teeth but will even out beautifully as you continue the whitening process.
What causes stains?
Some teeth are naturally pigmented or stained as they mature. Typically, stains come from exposure to tea, coffee, smoking, juices, colas, wine, age or just about anything can stain white material. Tetracycline (antibiotic) can also cause staining but teeth can be improved with the process. However, it may take longer.
Are there any side effects?
Some people may feel a little tingling sensation, white gum line, or sensitivity, all of which are normal and dissipate quickly.
Is the gel safe?
The gels contain high quality ingredients. The home trays are made of hygienically approved oral grade material. Research has shown that if the teeth and guns are normal and healthy, there are no adverse effects to bleaching one's teeth.
How long does the process take and what are the results?
Results can vary as everyone is different. The grade of your teeth and your age can affect the process, but we recommend a 20 - 30 minute treatment.
How long before I can eat or drink after my treatment?
For the first 48 hours we recommend you avoid coffee, tea, dark colored sodas, red wines, berries, red sauces, beets or any foods that have the propensity to stain.
How long do the effects last?
This will depend on your lifestyle. If you continue to eat or drink items that are staining to enamel then your teeth will eventually darken again.
How often can I have this process?
You can have the LED teeth whitening procedure every 3 to 6 months. Your professional can supply you with a take home tray system as a booster to the professional treatment. The trays are worn for 15 minutes a day until all the gel is used.
Will the process whiten my crown?
Your teeth should only be whitened to the color of your crowns so all your teeth match. Dental work cannot be lightened more than the color of your original teeth.
